I am in legal practice since last 41 years and now in my profession in my capacity as a senior advocate.  I have served Nepal in my capacity as an Attorney General of the country. 
My belief is what ever I am at present is because this society. Hence it is our duty to give back to society whatever we can.  I was among the concept designer and one of the founder of TIL Ganga eye center which is leading eye care center in this region.  Once during the social discussion Dr Sarita Ghimire talked with me and captain Rameshwore thapa about the concept of cancer care foundation. 
I was convinced and decided to promote for our people.  Then we talked with the bigger group of like minded friends and experts and formed the executive committee and moved forward.  I am personally involved in some other social and philanthropy  activities. I feel comfortable if I am useful to others who are in need of.

NCCF is established with the focus on prevention & screening of cancer. Prevention is ‘the’ tool for cancer control. In developing country like ours, government’s priority is to treat communicable diseases and is least focused on prevention and early detection of cancer, NCCF has played a huge role to bridge this gap and is working towards prevention and screening of cancer further reducing cancer burden in the society. I feel privileged  to be part of NCCF team and its contribution to the society.

 Ashish Garg, a fellow chartered accountant and entreprenuer engaged in power and construction business, is on the board of NCCF since it’s inception in 2012. With his strong desire to contribute to society at large, he has been actively engaged in many social organisations. He feels that cancer prevention and care is crucial step towards healthy well being of Nepalese society and NCCF is a apt platform to act on it. At NCCF he provides management insight and volunteering for various programs and wants NCCF to grow as a center for cancer free society. He has also provided financial contribution for construction works at NCCF Kathmandu center.
